About Me...

As I was growing up I never once considered that my career aspirations would be limited by my gender. It never crossed my mind.

When I was in University I didn't have enough money to cover the costs so I joined the Army Reserves to help pay my way. This is where I ran smack into the wall of obstacles society had put in my path. For the first time I looked around and realized my gender was in the minority and my path to success was not going to be easy.

Several years later I changed career paths and joined a large municipal police service. There were more women but we were still greatly outnumbered. It was blatantly obvious that there were limits on the number of spaces for women in specialized units, and some units didn't even have any women.

Frustrated with being passed over for investigative positions, I buckled down and applied all of the skills I had learned from my time in the military and my experience as a competitive athlete.

The result was it worked. I got selected for the specialized positions I was seeking and I was promoted several times.

I'm now on a mission to help other women do the same, by providing a program that will help you accelerate your career, with support and guidance along the way.
